Kenmore Mercy Hospital's $14 million Emergency Department construction project broke ground on the south end of the hospital near Westchester Boulevard in the spring of 2012.
At the new emergency center, patients can expect:
Larger department, expanding from 12,500 square feet to 24,000 square feet
Centralized nurses’ stations with access to treatment rooms
25 private treatment rooms
Resuscitation rooms, bariatric room, and decontamination room
Increased campus parking
New drive-up ambulance bay to improve emergency transport of patients
Larger waiting room
A SuperTrack Unit, treat and release area
A radiology suite with 24/7 digital imaging and a high resolution CT scanner onsite
